Japan
The material of Japanese traditional crafts, Urushi, gets very famous in the world enough to be called “Japan” in other countries.
Painting ways and techniques of Urushi depend on region by region. 彩AYA uses a technique called Makie on Aizu lacquering.

Makie
The Makie is the original traditional technique in Japan. By using Makie on lacquering, it generates three-dimensional and solemn effect.
In addition, we put “Raden” technique on Makie, so you could see a variety of cherry blossoms by changing point of view to watch.
Because we paint the surface of 彩AYA black, the Makie emphasize against the black color such as a star floating in the night sky.

Cherry Blossom
Cherry blossoms, Sakura, is a national flower of Japan, and it is a symbol of beauty.
It is a famous story that the cherry trees originated in 1912 as a gift of friendship from Japan to United States.
In Japan, people like to see cherry blossoms and have parties in spring, called “Hanami.” They are very beautiful. Would you like your own “Sakura” just not from slight light from vacuum tubes?

Sphere
When people see something round shape, it feels comfortable and safe.
To give you cozy feeling, we designed 彩AYA to be sphere housing.
We put slight light from the vacuum tube that you can see from the front hole of the housing and sphere housing together, so 彩AYA will give you prime healing effect.

The faint light coming from 彩AYA
Adopted four vacuum tube amplifiers for 彩AYA. Using tube amps, they give you the original and natural sound. You could feel comfortable and warm through 彩AYA. The shadowy light of vacuum tube amplifiers from the hole expresses high-quality.Our Thought

Japanese Traditional Crafts
彩AYA collaborates with Japanese traditional crafts, “Aizu lacquering,” in Aizuwakamatsu-shi, Fukushima prefecture, Japan. The traditional crafts are made from traditional techniques and craftsmanship. You could get your own vacuum tube amplifier because Japanese artisans lacquer them one by one just for you.Secret Story

Crisis of Japanese Manufacturing
Japan was used to be called Manufacturing power in many years, but recently our demand from other countries have decreased because of high costs to make products compared to other countries. On the other hand, Japanese products have been evaluated in techniques and high-quality products. In fact, when I presented a Japanese pen to my friend, he was really delighted to be given it because it was Japanese brand pen. That is why we made 彩AYA to inform “ how wonderful Japanese manufacturing” to worldwide.
Collaborate with Japanese original techniques
Collaborating with Japanese traditional techniques, we would like to appeal that Japanese products are really elaborate and careful. We have a lot of techniques for traditional crafts region to region in Japan. We developed to disseminate 彩AYA that means good points of Japanese manufacturing to the world.
Aiming at an innovative design
The manufacturing industry has more men workers than women in Japan, so we developed and designed 彩AYA by mainly women workers to differentiate from other companies. We could design refinement of the cherry blossom and softness of the sphere from esthetic senses of women.Logo design and meaning of あや(AYA)
“あや”(AYA) is written in Kanji as “彩”, and they have same pronounce.- The Japanese traditional crafts produce “just your space” that no one has felt. = Seeing
- The vacuum tube amplifier plays “colorful sound.” = Music
- あや(AYA)creates “your life.” = Healing
